Henry John Jones
This is the memorial page for Henry John Jones, originally from Resolven but living and working in Ystalyfera, killed during the First World War. Note, there is a discrepancy in the reported age of Henry John Jones; two of these come from The Cambrian Daily Leader, in editions one week apart, the first saying he was "about 32" and the second saying he was "only 25". The CWGC reports his age as 27, which falls handily in between.
The information on Henry John Jones comes principally from the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, from the Labour Voice newspaper, and the Parish Burial Register (courtesy of the Swansea Archives).
