Another Perrott, initial W is mentioned in the Llais, May 1917, as being injured in action.
From the Labour Voice newspaper, 26th May 1917 :-Mrs W Perrott Zoar Road has received intimation from the War Office that her husband Private W Perrott has been received into hospital at Salonica, severely wounded. He left this country only 10 weeks ago. Previous to joining the Army in August 1914, he was engaged at the Ystalyfera tinplate works. His many friends hope to hear better news soon.
