Edward John Trussler

From the Labour Voice newspaper, 4th August 1917 :-
The death took place on Thursday at his home at Woodman Terrace of ex Private E J Trussler. Deceased, who was 33 years of age, had been ill for some time. The funeral took place at Holy Trinity when the Rev J Secundus Jones officiated.
Private Edward John Trussler signed at Ystradgynlais on 7th September 1914 the form for Army Reserve (Special Reservists) for one year's service. He was posted to the South Wales Borderers, 6th (Service) Batallion on the 19th September 1914 as a private, but was discharged as being physically unfit for further service on 16th December 1914.
