With only a few days to go before the start of another month, I usually at least have some idea of a theme for the Ystalyfera Slide Show. However, I am aware that however hard I concentrate, nothing has sprung to mind.
All my time and energy over the last couple of months has been given over to the task of photographing, plotting and entering onto my files the 1,195 visible gravestones within St David's Cemetery Abercrave. "My Cemetery" work is very important to me and as I lie here at the ridiculous hour of 4.30am, I suddenly realised that perhaps this month I could show some of the photographs taken around the district over the last few years....... And now I am going to try and drop off to sleep again for at least a couple more hours.
